Now you know we keep it fresh round here and this video off of The Big 10 mixtape for the joint “Put Your Hands Up” is evidence of that. If you havn’t got your free download, hurry up and please do cause you’re starting 2012 off on a bad foot. Gotta love the comedy eliment of the video and come on fellas, you know we’ve all been in this position of trying to juggle a few girls in one tight ass circle. Either way the beat knocks and 50 is on his usual vibe but his flow sounds a bit more harsh, back to that early 2000’s style. As I said before, get your year started off right with “Put Your Hands Up”

Grime is still pushing forward and still coming hard. For a minute it was just bars upon bars and no real song format, making it hard for music fans to cross-over, but not so much today. The scenes regulars return here to show the new school kids just how its done. Its a great blend of the creative styles within the genre itself, Kano’s dancehall change up, Wretch’s punchline southern flow, Wiley doing er..Wiley, and Scorcher’s east coast hip hop style. Look out for Kano’s Jack Bauer 2.0 mixtape to be dropping soon.

Ok its not new but come on, its dope! Emeli Sande has been on the scene for a minute lending her talents to various other projects but this track of hers is killer. Nice fast tempo drumming, soft strings and passionate upfront R&B vocals..what a good blend. A must to end the year as the feel good tracks of the week. Sit back, relax and enjoy Heaven

Andru The Crook has done it! You can officially blame him for ruining your friday night thanks to this House of Pain remix. The track starts off easy and builds real slow until bang, your walking to you neighbour’s house wearing nothing but socks, covering your genitals and trying to explain why your house is on fire..yes, blame it all on Andru The Crook. On the reals, its got some nice dance floor potential and I can see the massive going nuts to this one..big ups. This is the perfect track to start off the long weekend of celebrating. “Ill serve your ass like John Mcenroe”

As we move into the soon to be infamous party weekend thats ahead, I thought I’d drop a wicked track from Gracious K. The versitile UK MC has returned with something more in the vein of hip hop but still something you can cut a rug to.  You may know him from 2009’s funky house banger “Migraine Skank” or this summer’s “21 Dares“, but this time around he’s eased the tempo just enough for the folks on the wall to nod their heads to.  Free up yourself and throw your Hands in the Air

Its official, if you’re joining me in Bermuda this is the place where its all going down. Winter Wonderland 2012 is the event, Victoria Grill is the venue and DJ Exist is the man! Come through and bring in the new year with your feet stomping the floor, sweat dripping down your back and some absolute stranger teaching you how to Dougie! From Electro to Hip Hop, Dancehall to Dubstep and everything in between, we’ve got it locked!

It seems like dancehall’s tempo was getting faster and faster while more and more people were leaving the scene at an even faster pace. Enter Charlie Black. The “new” kid on the block has recently been dropping dancehall with a 1990’s (its prime years according to most fans) style while still pushing a new sound at the same time. Now sure some of his tracks can sound a bit more like 90’s soca or recent hip hop, but his vocal delivery is pure dancehall deejay every time. Ether way you slice it, he’s producing dancehall thats fun to listen and dance to. Mind you, some people may not like the agree with the lyrical topics but hey, the man is just saying how much he loves women..is it really that bad? So feel free to slap this on the radio and dance around your house while no one’s watching, its pretty infectious
