Now you know we keep it fresh round here and this video off of The Big 10 mixtape for the joint “Put Your Hands Up” is evidence of that. If you havn’t got your free download, hurry up and please do cause you’re starting 2012 off on a bad foot. Gotta love the comedy eliment of the video and come on fellas, you know we’ve all been in this position of trying to juggle a few girls in one tight ass circle. Either way the beat knocks and 50 is on his usual vibe but his flow sounds a bit more harsh, back to that early 2000’s style. As I said before, get your year started off right with “Put Your Hands Up”

Grime is still pushing forward and still coming hard. For a minute it was just bars upon bars and no real song format, making it hard for music fans to cross-over, but not so much today. The scenes regulars return here to show the new school kids just how its done. Its a great blend of the creative styles within the genre itself, Kano’s dancehall change up, Wretch’s punchline southern flow, Wiley doing er..Wiley, and Scorcher’s east coast hip hop style. Look out for Kano’s Jack Bauer 2.0 mixtape to be dropping soon.

Well its not exactly a new track and it’s not really a new video but taking the time out to blend them together is pretty fun and creative.  I try to bring you things away from the norm, away from the top 40 and far from the regular run of the mill.  Here is a mash up video containing Pendulum’s- Blood Sugar set to the backdrop of anime films Deathnote, Cannan and Shukugan no Shana The Movie.  Enjoy the madness and the energry, always keeping things fresh.

Ok at first glance you may think it is Drake, but no, its the return of Ryan Leslie. Now you may be saying a commercial R&B act, why is this showing up on here? Ryan Leslie has been on the scene and in the background for a minute, producing hits for a few of your favourite hardcore MC’s (Fabolous, Llloyd Banks, Booba etc.) but the fact of the matter is, the man is a genius. While in his teens he managed to be accepted into Harvard, Standford and Yale. And some folks still dont think the hip hop community is educated (smh). But on the real, watching him work and craft up banging hits is inspiring and he is clearly a producer to be respected.

Ok its not new but come on, its dope! Emeli Sande has been on the scene for a minute lending her talents to various other projects but this track of hers is killer. Nice fast tempo drumming, soft strings and passionate upfront R&B vocals..what a good blend. A must to end the year as the feel good tracks of the week. Sit back, relax and enjoy Heaven

Come and get some Christmas cheer and no, I dont mean with ho ho hoes. (Yes, I said hoes on Christmas). I just haaaad to post that remixed version of Jingle Bells and you have to admit its pretty fresh. But on the real, after the presents, second helping of everything your eyes can see and trying out your presents, you may just straight up get a little bored. So while you surf the internet for por…fresh videos and what not, why not bump this deejay mix in the background. Guaranteed to lift your spirits. Happy Holidays Kids! Courtesy of the good folks over at Fact Magazine who probably don’t approve this message!

Since this weekend has already kicked off with a bang for some of us, let us now motivate the rest of you to join in. Now here, we dont really push R&B too hard but we do, and always do, promote having a good-ass time. Check the vibes from Chris Brown’s after party at Diablo’s nightclube and get in the celebrating mood, you know you deserve it. We’re in this for long haul..
